Handouts

Print, Share or Email

A referral lands better when the family knows why they are being sent and what happens next. These handouts explain it in plain language, so the conversation you started in your office carries on at home. Print as many as you like, or email the PDF straight to a family.

  • Before a learning or attention diagnosis, rule out vision

From the child's psychologist: how eye strain during reading can look like inattention, avoidance or a reading problem, with a check-list and a tear-off referral slip.

  • What to expect at your evaluation

A one-page walk through the visit for the family: booking and forms, the evaluation itself, results the same day, the written report, what to bring and how payment works.

  • While you wait: home and classroom tips

Simple changes that lighten the load on tired eyes at home and at school until the evaluation. They support the child; they do not treat the problem.
