Low Vision
Making the most of remaining vision when glasses alone are not enough.
What to Know About Low Vision
Low vision refers to reduced sight that cannot be fully corrected with standard glasses, contacts, or surgery. The goal of low-vision care is functional: helping patients use their remaining vision effectively for the tasks that matter to them.
We assess function and goals and discuss strategies, devices, and supports that can help, coordinating with other providers as needed.
How We Help
Care starts with a comprehensive developmental and binocular vision evaluation that pinpoints exactly what's happening. From there, Dr. Murray builds an individualized plan — which may include lenses or prism, in-office vision therapy, and coordination with your other providers — at our Boynton Beach and Boca Raton offices.
