Vision & Learning Center works with all types of insurance on an "open network basis". As an open-access provider, we are not in-network but we can provide you with services/materials and still utilize your insurance benefits/coverage. If you provide us with a few pieces of information, we are able to pull your insurance eligibility and coverage and let you know how much you will pay for services and how much insurance will reimburse you directly.

Because we are an open network practice, we are not confined to the rules of your insurance policy. We have the ability to carefully select the labs we wish to work with to ensure that you get high-quality services and materials without the fear that it will break in a couple of months. We pride ourselves in the care we provide!

Payment Options

At Vision & Learning Center, our goal is to provide the best in vision evaluations. Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, debit cards, Master Card, Visa, Discover, American Express, and CareCredit.

Cash Pay

For cash pay patients we offer upfront fees for service and an in-house membership plan called the EyeQ club.

CareCredit helps you pay for out-of-pocket expenses not covered by medical insurance by extending special financing options that you can't get when using your regular credit card.

Pay for health, and wellness care at over 200,000 enrolled providers across the nation. Once you've applied, you can use it again and again at any location that accepts CareCredit.

With shorter term financing options of 6, 12, 18 or 24 months no interest is charged on purchases of $200 or more when you make the minimum monthly payments and pay the full amount due by the end of the promotional period. If you do not, interest is charged from the original purchase date.*

CareCredit also extends longer term healthcare financing for 24, 36, 48 or 60-month periods with Reduced APR and Fixed Monthly Payments Required Until Paid in Full. Purchases of $2,500 or more qualify for the 60-month offer with a 16.9% APR (24, 36 and 48 financing terms are for purchases of $1,000 or more with a 14.9% APR).**

For complete details, see the CareCredit account agreement within your application.

Ask your provider to find out which promotion is right for you. You do not need to select a promotion before you apply.

FSA/HSA Account

Many employers are offering Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options to employees. Eye exams generally qualify as a medically necessary service for FSAs or Health Spending Accounts (HSAs). These plans are designed to let you save money in an account, pre-tax, to pay for additional medical expenses. Check with the benefits administrator at your work to see if you are eligible for this program. FSAs or HSAs can typically be used to offset out-of-pocket costs on your behalf.
